Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers on lead times, shipping, documentation and working with ATI Global Trade.

Lead times

How long does it take to receive a quotation?

Quotation timing depends on how clearly the item is identified, technical clarification and supplier feedback. Include complete references, quantities, nameplate photos and your required-on-site date so the request can be assessed. There is no standard response-time commitment for every enquiry.

What determines the delivery lead time?

Availability, manufacturing requirements, documentation, export review and transport all affect lead time. The quotation should distinguish dispatch timing from estimated transit time and state any conditions. A catalog listing does not confirm stock.

Can you help with urgent or shutdown requirements?

State the shutdown date, final installation site and whether only the original item is acceptable. ATI can review sourcing options and timing, but urgent delivery is subject to confirmation. A requested date is not a delivery guarantee.

Shipping and delivery

Can you arrange international shipping?

International delivery requirements can be reviewed as part of your enquiry. Provide the receiving city and country, final destination and any site restrictions. Feasibility depends on the goods, destination, export requirements and the agreed commercial terms.

Are freight, customs duties and taxes included?

Do not assume they are included. The quotation and agreed Incoterms should specify freight scope, delivery point, customs-clearance responsibilities and which charges are excluded. Confirm the importer of record and destination requirements before ordering.

What delivery information should I include in my RFQ?

Provide the receiving address or city and country, end-user company, final installation site and required-on-site date. Mention your preferred Incoterms, packing requirements and whether partial deliveries are acceptable. Receiving and final installation locations may differ.

Documentation and compliance

What documents can I request with an order?

Specify the documents your project requires, such as a certificate of conformity, origin information, inspection records, material certificates or calibration records. Availability, scope and any extra charges must be confirmed for the exact item in the quotation; documents are not automatically included.

Can you meet project-specific certification requirements?

Include the required standards, approval references, document formats and acceptance criteria with your RFQ. Requirements must be reviewed against the proposed item and supply route. ATI does not assume that a family-level approval applies to every configured product.

What information is needed for export or end-use review?

Provide the end-user company, intended application, delivery country and final installation site. Additional information may be requested depending on the goods and destination. Orders remain subject to applicable export controls, sanctions and other legal requirements.

The B2B sourcing process

How do I start a sourcing enquiry?

Submit an RFQ with your company and contact details, manufacturer, complete part or model reference, quantity and requirement description. Add available nameplates, drawings or datasheets and your delivery requirements. The request is reviewed, missing details are clarified, and sourcing options are assessed before quotation.

Can I enquire without a complete part number?

Yes. Send readable nameplate photographs, equipment tags, the application and any existing drawings or parts lists. Mark unknown details rather than guessing. Photos can start identification, but further technical clarification may be needed before quotation.

Do you source OEM and non-OEM options?

State whether you require OEM-only material or are willing to review alternatives. Any proposed alternative must be clearly identified and assessed against your technical and documentation requirements; it is not automatically interchangeable. ATI Global Trade is an independent sourcing business, not an authorized manufacturer representative unless explicitly stated.

Have a specific sourcing requirement?

Send the equipment details for review, or contact us with a question about your enquiry.
